Salvatore Esposito was a guest at the 71st Taormina Film Festival, held from 10 to 14 June 2025, where he received the Taormina Special Award.

The actor, also a writer, director and screenwriter, sent some very important messages to all the students who were present at his meeting, recounting his entire career from the beginning to the present day.

He is, as always, kind and helpful with the audience, as usual numerous, to whom he grants the inevitable selfies.

In his career he has also had the opportunity to interact with the American film industry and he says: “It is a wonderful experience because it allows you to interact not only with a market, a huge industry, but also with actors from every corner of the planet, with very good directors and with an amazing crew, and I can tell you that this has made me grow a lot, first of all as a human being, but also as an artist”.

In his statements he also wanted to take a stand in favor of Italian cinema by spending some beautiful words on it. During the meeting he spoke about many other interesting topics focusing on the actor’s profession, on AI, on his youthful life in the suburbs, and on his books.

At the end of the meeting he wanted to encourage the kids by declaring: “Believe, believe firmly in your dreams and above all believe that they can come true. Never let yourself be discouraged by those who say ‘you will never make it’, because they will be your first enemy.”
