On 25 July at Giffoni2022 the preview of “Rosanero”: the new Sky Original comedy with Salvatore Esposito, Fabiana Martucci and director Andrea Porporati. The movie produced by 11 Marzo Film and Vision Distribution will be available soon on Sky and NOW.

Plot: Totò, forty years old, is an emerging boss of organized crime in the Neapolitan area. Rosetta is a ten-year-old girl who is in fifth grade. One morning Totò is hit in the chest by a bullet. In that same instant, Rosetta falls from a swing and hits her head. The girl and the boss are operated on, but when they recover from the coma they both have changed. Totò, the Camorra, wakes up in Rosetta’s body, Rosetta in Totò’s. A kind and dance-loving child remains entangled in the features of a gangster. She is a gangster in that of a little girl.

The film was based on the literary work of Maria Tronca “Rosanero”, published by the Baldini & Castoldi publishing house. In the cast of the film also Antonio Milo (Natale in Casa Cupiello, Commissioner Ricciardi), Salvatore Striano (L’oro di Scampia), Aniello Arena (Reality, Ultras) in the role of Michele a’Murena and with the extraordinary participation of Sebastiano Somma (Rimini Rimini, Opera, the Cloth Merchant) who lends his face to Fortebraccio.

ROSANERO was shot between Castellammare di Stabia, Ercolano, Vico Equense and Rome. A modern fairy tale with light tones with some dark elements that through an unpredictable and unexpected exchange of identity gives life to a comedy of misunderstandings suitable for the whole family with a surprise ending where good and evil are constantly reversed.
