On Saturday 20 April Salvatore Esposito was a guest in Naples at Palazzo Reale for the La Repubblica delle Idee 2024 event.

The actor was welcomed with enthusiasm by the many people who filled the room of the Palatine Chapel, interviewed by Giulia Santerini on the topic of “Naples and Piedone: the detective film in the streets of the city”.

The new SKY TV series, PIEDONE:LA SERIE, features the Neapolitan actor as the protagonist, grappling with the role of the unforgettable Bud Spencer, in a sequel that will give life to a new version of the character.

The places that were the setting for the filming were told, as well as various anecdotes
which made the audience in the room think and smile.

A part could not be missing in which we talked about the city of Naples, a city with a thousand facets and the beating heart of Italian culture.

After the interview Salvatore Esposito met his fans, signed autographs, took selfies and received all the affection from his many admirers who have been following him for years..
